A brief history of the Parish of the Holy Lady Mary of Rosary

 

The Roman-catholic Community is since 1995 officially registered in Ust`' -Kamenogorsk. The Catholics arrived here as a result of mass deportations conducted by the Soviets during World War II and are mostly of German origin. At first, the spiritual service was delivered by priests coming occasionally. With time, the church community, together with the priests and order sisters, developed a vivid activity in spreading of the Good News and helping those in need.
